Music

Currently Listening To:  Strange, I still like mood music even up to now, but its encompassed even those old music from the 70's. Right now, I can't get over Craig Armstrong's "Let's Go Out Tonight", and Vonda Shepard's remake of the Todd Rungdren classic "Can We Still Be Friends".

What I said a year ago:  Ever since I heard "Playground Love", a song from the Virgin Suicides soundtrack, I've been attracted to mood music, or music that's supposed to make you fall asleep. Right now I'm in love with Coldplay's Parachutes album, especially the song "Sparks". I also like Bush's "Letting The Cables Sleep". That is one haunting song.

I'm trying to gradually learn how to appreciate some "metal" music. I mean it when I said gradually, since even up to now I'm still listening to the more popular "metal" bands like A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails. I love "Orestes" and "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle though.

Favorite Songs:  When it comes to favorite songs, I always chose them the account that they are songs that makes me stop whatever it is I'm doing; songs that make me stop and listen. Few songs compell me to do that. I'll start with my alternative picks. I'm sorry if I can never type this up right, but I really like Gerald De Palmas' song "J'Reve Encore" from his album Marcher dans le Sable. I also like "3 Libras" and "Orestes" by A Perfect Circle. I can never get tired of this.

There's also Bjork's song, "Play Dead". I had this song on repeat for 2 days in a row. Oh, and "Remember to Breathe" by Dashboard Confessional. The lead singer's voice grates my ears, though.

There's also Thai pop music, but I'll keep quiet about that...

U2. Especially "With or Without You". I can never get over that song.

Favorite Albums: Any Cafe Del Mar album, Il Postino Soundtrack,  Beauty and the Beast: Of Love and Hope, 6-2-12, Briohny's first album, Weiss Kreuz Dramatic Image album, Jars of Clay: Jars of Clay,  Dizzy Up The Girl: Goo Goo Dolls, and U2's Joshua Tree.
